The downside of digital skins

Yuck. Skins kill the look and feel of whatever they are applied to.
Homogenizes. Prevents looking at the totality of the item, cutting out
everything the skin doesn't recognize because it hasn't been included
in the formula. Imagination and creativity of creator killed. If the
idea is to cut out the vile designs, the too-full pages, the attention
grabbing by the irrelevant, then I suggest we take the hint and
attention grab only the relevant and do it the hell beautifully. If
'Homogenize' was a billboard who would do it? I want a list, damn it,
some stats. Get onto it.
